Why?
If you are planning a trip or generally travel a lot, an individual travel consultation makes sense.
In addition to the personal consultation appointment, making an appointment early is a prerequisite for a successful travel medicine consultation. So get in touch early and make a personal appointment for travel medicine consultation or simply book online.
During the travel medical consultation, individual recommendations will be worked out, depending on your destination and type of travel, your age, any existing illnesses or pregnancy. You will be informed about precautionary measures and an individual concept for vaccination and prevention will be discussed with you. In addition to vaccinations, this also includes other preventive measures, such as

It is advantageous if you send us further information (destination, travel time, travel duration, travel route) in advance. Also, please do not forget any special information about the activities planned for the trip (e.g. trekking tour), the travel conditions (e.g. rather simple accommodation or luxury hotel) as well as your state of health (e.g. existing allergies, chronic diseases, medication).

Am Besten den Impfpass im Vorfeld eine Woche vor der Beratung digitalisieren lassen. Reiseberatung möglichst spätestens 2 Monate vor der Reise in Anspruch nehmen.
After that
Vaccines are usually in stock with me. Sometimes vaccines must be purchased by prescription from the pharmacy. In this case, you will receive the first travel vaccination without an appointment. You can always book further vaccinations online. A vaccination schedule will be sent to you by mail immediately after consultation, or you can pair up via ImpfpassDE app, and receive your digital vaccination certificate including vaccination schedule.
Costs
As voluntary benefits, many statutory health insurance funds reimburse their members for the costs of travel medical health services, even for private trips abroad. This can include medical vaccination services, the cost of vaccines and any necessary malaria prophylaxis medication.
So please ask your health insurance if they will also contribute to the costs of consultation and any necessary vaccinations.
The costs for a travel medical consultation, as well as any necessary costs for vaccines or medications, must be covered by you personally. You can pay the invoice in cash in our practice or we will send you an invoice after the consultation and any necessary vaccinations have been completed.

In-depth consultation (GOÄ 3): € 20.11
Extensive travel medical consultation (GOÄ 30 analog): € 50.00
Vaccinations including assessment of vaccination suitability and entry in your vaccination card:
- First vaccination (GOÄ 375): € 10.72
- Each additional vaccination on the same day (GOÄ 377): € 6.70

Issue of simple certificates

Costs for vaccines:
Since I do not stock the vaccines or medications that may be necessary for your trip in my practice, they will be prescribed for you. You will have to pay for the vaccines yourself after you have filled the prescription at a pharmacy. You can then submit the receipt to your health insurance company (see above).
